Course Description

course description 1

  1

Index 1, a long demanding hole requires 2 of your best to find the green. In reflection, a bogey on this hole is never a bad start

 2

The big hitters can get home on this par 5.  Bunkers up to the left of the fairway tend to catch out alot of people.  2-tiered green approach shot has to be precise.

 3

A short par 4 with ob on the right. A decent drive leaves a 9 iron/wedge to a narrow green. Don’t go long left as it’s a certain bogey

 hole 4

Short par 3 looking down on the green, misses to the right can catch the slope and end up with a birdie putt

 hole 5

A tight narrow drive awaits on the 5th to what most people call the easiest hole in the course

 hole 6

A strong par 4 with a stream across the middle of the fairway to catch out the big hitters. A par here any day is a great result

 hole 7

A Dogleg par 5 with streams running up to the right side of the fairway and crossing 30 yards short of the green. A narrow landing spot for the second shot with water and bunkers awaiting errant shot.  Once navigated a simple par should be made

 hole 8

90 degrees from left to right with water on the right side of the fairway. Deep bunkering at front of the green makes for a tough second shot

 hole 9

Uphill par 4 with a tall sequoia tree in play off the drives. Always play an extra club to this green as shots coming short are looking at a bogey

 hole 10 11

10

Short par 5, get the drive away and should lead to a decent birdie chance

 hole 10 11

11

Signature hole, short par 3 over water measuring 122 metres. A precise iron shot is required as short or long leads to all sorts of trouble

 hole 12

12

A great par 4 drive down the left half of the fairway is required to see the green for approach shot

13

Short par 4 dogleg from left to right. Big hitters don’t need to hit driver off the tee

 14th hole

14

Par 3 with ob left and water right of green. Long narrow green from front to back

15

Par 4 where the green catches out alot of people with the two tiers

 hole 16

16

Double dogleg par 5, nearly always a 3 shotter with ob up the left. A real tricky green with 2 putts not guaranteed.

 hole 17

17

Superb par 3, finding this green with your tee shot is never easy with bunkers to the right of the green ready to gather up the wayward shot

 hotel 18

18

A gem of a par 4. Getting your drive away leads to a long uphill 2nd shot to a tired green in front of the enchanting clubhouse. Finish with a par and you deserve your pint in the clubhouse afterwards
